Katherine Anderson handles the legal team at the Auckland Council and is responsible for the development and delivery of plans from New Zealand’s largest city. Having operated in the position since early 2014, she
is number 9 on LawFuel’s “Power List” of the country’s most powerful lawyers, responsible for projects that affect the lives of a third of the country’s population.
With a full time team of 40, the Council legal diviision is responsible for deliverying on the Long Term Plan and Unitary Plan, as well as settling major priorities in the heart of New Zealand’s beating commercial heart, confronting major issues that will shape the city and in many ways the country’s direction on important matters.
