"The Vagabrothers", the part-Kiwi travel bloggers who roam the world filming travel stories for their YouTube channel have encountered most things weird and wacky.  Now they can add "ghosts" to the list after brother Alex, an Otago University  alumni, spent what he described as "Footsteps in the stairway with nobody there, loud crashes and creaks in the ceiling, cold chills during the noises. Holy shit."
A stoic and resourceful soul, Alex Ayling is hardly one given to surrendering to mere noise or bumps in the night.  He makes plenty of the former and participates in much of the latter but the ghosts of Tallin had him seriously sleep-deprived:   "Haven't slept a wink and definitely glad it's almost sunrise
and my last night in this apartment."

The incident occurred between Vaga-trips.  The boys had just been to Canada and the American Badlands and were now headed to Ireland.  Meanwhile, they decided to take some down time in Tallin, Estonia. However Alex was alone on the night of the Haunting, his brother socialising with a close friend elsewhere.

Checking AirBnB reviews, they noted previous comments about the haunting, one resident explaining that thehy heard "heavy stepping sojnds coming from the top between 3 and s6 in the morning".

Researching the issue, the boys found that the street they were in had been heavily bombed in World War II causing 750 civilian deaths, with the bombing occurring between 1 and 4am, "pretty much exactly the time frame the noises were most intense," Alex said.

The Vagabrother travel blogs began after they won an around-the-world  competition in 2013, 'the Biggest, Baddest Bucket List', scoring the trip and a $50,000 cash prize and finishing in New Zealand.

Since then they have travelled alreasdy to most corners of the world recording their adventures for tourist authorities and others with a trademark
humour and slickness.

The sons of former New Zealand lawyer, Rob Ayling, who has been resident in the US for the past three decades, first as a law partner and latterly as a venture capitalist and oil shale operator, the Vagabrothers have grown their brand of unique travel with a fast-growing following among travel and adventure-seekers, as well as girls who like how they look and sound.
